Goldman Sachs reported a more than doubling of fourth-quarter profits Wednesday behind broad strength across its financial businesses, pointing to improving CEO sentiment. The Wall Street giant scored quarterly profits of $3.9 billion, up 110 percent from the year-ago level on revenues of $13.9 billion, which were up 23 percent.
