New York State to pay 3 bln USD in first-ever inflation refunds

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- New York State Governor Kathy Hochul proposed a series of policies to bolster residents' livelihoods on Tuesday, including a direct 3-billion-U.S.-dollar payment to 8.6 million New Yorkers through the first inflation refund. Through the rebate, joint taxpayers with annual incomes of 300,000 U.S. dollars or less will receive a subsidy of 500 U.S. dollars and all single taxpayers with annual incomes of 150,000 U.S.......
