Munich (dpa) - The trial of two German politicians over an alleged corruption scandal known as the Azerbaijan affair began in Munich on Thursday. Axel Fischer and Eduard Lintner, both former lawmakers from the centre-right CDU/CSU bloc, face bribery charges at the Munich Higher Regional Court.
