Cotton futures close lower

ZHENGZHOU, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Cotton futures closed lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active cotton contract for May 2025 delivery lost 50 yuan (about 6.97 U.S. dollars) to close at 13,610 yuan per tonne.
