‘Floods caught us by surprise’: Mbala

KATIMA MULILO, 22 MAR (NAMPA) – Former Constituency councillor for Kabbe (before it was divided into north and south) Raphael Mbala says this year’s floods caught the people of eastern Zambezi Region by surprise.
In a telephonic interview with Nampa on Saturday, Mbala said most villages in the flood plains of the Kabbe South Constituency are now cut off by road and can only be accessed via canoes and boats.
