Spanish GDP growth steady at 0.8% in fourth quarter

Madrid (dpa-AFX) - The Spanish economy logged steady growth in the fourth quarter, the statistical office INE said Wednesday, confirming a previous estimate. Gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 0.8% on a sequential basis, the same rate of growth seen in the third quarter. The rate also matched a preliminary estimate released on January 29.
