India to Restructure Sri Lanka’s Debt, Lower Interest Rates – Prime Minister

NEW DELHI, April 5 (RIA Novosti) - India will restructure Sri Lanka’s debt and lower interest rates, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday. "Over the past six months alone we have converted over $100 million from debts into grants. Our bilateral agreement on loan restructuring will provide immediate help and relief to the people of Sri Lanka.
