German biathlete Voigt ready for season after 'mental breakdown'

Berlin (dpa) - German biathlete Vanessa Voigt is anticipating the weekend start of the World Cup season but after admitting to mental problems in summer which sidelined her for weeks she is grateful that the first races are relays. Voigt told Wednesday's Thüringer Allgemeine paper that such a "soft" start is good for the team in general and for her in particular because "we can distribute the pressure over the whole team."
