New blood test makes cancer treatments safer, more effective: researchers

SYDNEY, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Australian researchers have developed a new blood test they say could make cancer treatments safer and more effective. In a new study, researchers from RMIT University and the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity in Melbourne detailed how the first-of-its-kind test can rapidly assess how effective different nanomedicines are at killing cancer cells and minimizing side effects using just a drop of blood......
